Salvatore M. Russomano

Salvatore "Sonny" Russomano of Dunmore passed away on March 26 after a brief illness.

Sonny is preceded in death by his late wife, Barbara Jones.

Born on February 17, 1937, to the late Leonard and Francis Russomano, he grew up in Dunmore and was employed by the Cascade Tissue Group prior to his retirement.

He was a kind and generous man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved watching football and having cookouts with his friends and family.

Sonny especially loved spending time with those closest to him, especially his longtime companion, Mary Ann Cimino, her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Shawn McCormick, and their children, Riley and Brady, all of Dunmore.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
